Admission, Visa & Eligibility Disclaimer

Last updated: 13 August 2026

This disclaimer explains the limits of the information, assessments and study-abroad guidance provided by WB Study Abroad Consultants.

By using our website, eligibility tool, counselling services or application support, you acknowledge that admission, scholarship and visa decisions are made by independent institutions and authorities.

1. Nature of Our Services

WB Study Abroad Consultants provides educational counselling and application support. Our services may include:

  • Academic profile assessment
  • Country and programme guidance
  • University selection
  • Admission application preparation
  • Document review
  • Scholarship information
  • Interview preparation
  • Visa-file preparation guidance
  • Pre-departure assistance

We help students understand and prepare for application requirements. We do not make decisions on behalf of universities, scholarship providers, embassies, visa centres, immigration authorities or border-control officers.

2. Eligibility Tool

The eligibility tool provides an initial assessment based on the information entered by the user, which may include:

  • Academic qualification
  • CGPA, grades or percentage
  • Intended degree level
  • Preferred field of study
  • Desired country
  • IELTS status
  • IELTS band score
  • Other profile information

The result is intended to help the student understand whether further assessment may be useful. It is not an official admission or visa decision.

3. Green-Zone Results

A green-zone result means that the information entered appears to meet certain preliminary criteria used by the assessment tool.

It does not confirm:

  • University admission
  • Programme availability
  • Academic equivalence
  • Scholarship eligibility
  • Visa eligibility
  • Financial-document acceptance
  • English-language exemption
  • Successful departure or entry into another country

A complete review may identify additional requirements that were not included in the online assessment.

4. Red-Zone Results

A red-zone result means that one or more parts of the entered profile may not meet the preliminary criteria for the selected option.

It does not mean that the student is ineligible for every country, university or programme. Other institutions, study levels, departments, language options or destinations may have different requirements.

A red-zone result should be reviewed with a counsellor before the student makes a final decision.

5. IELTS and English-Language Requirements

Not having IELTS does not automatically make every student ineligible. Some institutions may consider another approved test, previous English-medium education, an English Proficiency Letter, an interview or a university assessment.

Acceptance depends on the institution, programme, intake and applicable visa requirements. An English-language waiver issued by a university does not automatically mean that an embassy or immigration authority will accept the same evidence.

Students should not book a test or rely on an exemption until the relevant requirement has been checked for their selected application.

6. Academic Eligibility

An academic profile may be assessed using grades, CGPA, subject background, degree duration, awarding institution, study gaps and programme relevance.

Meeting a published minimum requirement does not guarantee acceptance. Universities may also consider:

  • Available seats
  • Academic competition
  • Programme prerequisites
  • Statement of purpose
  • References
  • Work experience
  • Portfolio or research proposal
  • Interview performance
  • Previous application history
  • Document verification

Final academic assessment belongs to the receiving institution.

7. University Admission

WB Study Abroad Consultants may help prepare and submit an application after receiving the student’s approval.

The university decides whether to:

  • Accept or reject an application
  • Request additional documents
  • Offer conditional admission
  • Change the selected intake
  • Withdraw an offer
  • Defer an application
  • Require an interview or test
  • Confirm final enrolment

An offer letter may contain conditions that must be completed before admission becomes final. Students must read the complete offer and meet all stated conditions within the required time.

8. Programme and Intake Availability

A programme shown on a university website may close, fill its available seats, change its entry requirements or become unavailable for a particular intake.

An application should not be treated as submitted until the receiving institution confirms receipt. An application should not be treated as successful until the university issues an official decision.

We cannot reserve an intake or programme unless the university provides that option and confirms it.

9. Scholarships and Financial Support

Scholarship information is provided for guidance. Scholarship availability, eligibility, amount and selection criteria are controlled by the university or funding organization.

An admission offer does not automatically include a scholarship. A tuition discount is not necessarily a full scholarship.

Students should check:

  • Scholarship conditions
  • Academic requirements
  • Application deadline
  • Renewal requirements
  • Covered and excluded costs
  • Required financial contribution
  • Whether a separate application is needed

WB Study Abroad Consultants cannot guarantee scholarship selection or a particular funding amount.

10. Visa Applications

A university offer does not guarantee visa approval.

Visa authorities may assess matters including:

  • Identity and travel history
  • Academic background
  • Purpose of study
  • Financial evidence
  • Source of funds
  • English-language ability
  • Previous refusals
  • Immigration history
  • Medical or insurance requirements
  • Accommodation arrangements
  • Document authenticity
  • Interview responses
  • Country-specific requirements

The embassy, consulate or immigration authority makes the final visa decision. WB Study Abroad Consultants cannot influence, reverse or guarantee that decision.

11. Financial Evidence

Students are responsible for providing genuine and verifiable financial documents that meet the requirements applicable on the submission date.

A university’s acceptance of financial information does not guarantee acceptance by an embassy or immigration authority.

We do not guarantee that a bank statement, sponsorship document, income record or source-of-funds explanation will be accepted. Students should not temporarily arrange or misrepresent funds to create a misleading financial record.

12. Documents and Information

Students must provide accurate, complete and genuine information.

We do not support the use of:

  • Forged academic records
  • Altered bank statements
  • False employment documents
  • Misleading sponsorship evidence
  • Undisclosed visa refusals
  • False travel history
  • Incorrect identity information
  • Fabricated recommendation letters

False or incomplete information can result in admission withdrawal, visa refusal, future application restrictions or termination of our assistance.

Our review of a document does not certify its legal authenticity. The issuing institution or receiving authority may conduct its own verification.

13. Processing Times

Any processing time communicated by our team is an estimate based on the information available at that time.

Actual processing may be affected by:

  • University workload
  • Embassy or visa-centre workload
  • Security or document checks
  • Interview requirements
  • Application complexity
  • Public holidays
  • Appointment availability
  • Technical problems
  • Policy changes
  • Requests for additional information

Students should not purchase a non-refundable ticket, leave employment or make a binding travel commitment before receiving the necessary official decisions.

14. Fees and Currency Information

University fees, visa charges, service charges, exchange rates and other costs may change.

WB Study Abroad Consultants does not control fees charged by universities, embassies, visa centres, banks, couriers, testing providers or other organizations.

Students should confirm the amount, recipient, payment method and refund rules before making a payment.

15. Travel and Entry

A valid visa permits a person to travel to a destination and request entry. It does not always guarantee entry at the border.

Airlines and border authorities may request additional information or refuse travel or entry according to applicable rules.

Students remain responsible for:

  • Valid travel documents
  • Travel insurance
  • Accommodation information
  • Required funds
  • Health documents
  • University enrolment evidence
  • Compliance with visa conditions
  • Border and customs requirements

Our pre-departure guidance does not replace official travel or immigration instructions.

16. Employment and Post-Study Opportunities

Information about part-time work, graduate routes, employment opportunities or long-term residence is general and may change.

Study permission does not guarantee:

  • A part-time job
  • A particular salary
  • Employment after graduation
  • A post-study work permit
  • Permanent residence
  • Settlement or citizenship

Students should review the current official rules for their destination before relying on employment or immigration opportunities.

17. Legal and Immigration Advice

Our educational counselling and application support should not be treated as legal representation or independent immigration advice.

Where a matter requires legal interpretation, appeal representation or regulated immigration assistance, the student should consult a qualified professional authorized to provide that service in the relevant jurisdiction.

18. Success Stories and Reviews

Success stories describe the experiences of individual students. Results depend on each student’s profile, documents, finances, selected institution, application timing and official assessment.

A published admission, scholarship, visa or departure outcome does not guarantee the same result for another student.

19. Changes in Requirements

Admission, scholarship, visa and immigration requirements may change after information has been published or communicated.

We may update our website and guidance when new information becomes available, but we cannot guarantee that every page will immediately reflect every institutional or government change.

The most recent instructions published by the relevant university, embassy, visa centre or government authority should take priority.

20. External Sources

Our website may link to universities, government portals, embassies and other external sources.

We do not control their content, availability or privacy practices. Students should verify that they are using the correct official website before entering personal information or making a payment.

21. Limitation of This Disclaimer

Nothing on the website should be interpreted as a promise of admission, scholarship, visa approval, travel, employment or settlement.

Nothing in this disclaimer removes a legal right or responsibility that cannot lawfully be excluded.

The Privacy & Data Protection Policy explains how submitted information is handled. The Terms and Conditions explain the rules governing website use and consultancy services.
