3. Eligibility Assessment Results
The eligibility tool may use the information entered by a student to display a preliminary assessment, including a green-zone or red-zone result.
This result is intended for initial guidance only. It is not a final admission, scholarship or visa decision. A member of our team may review the information before providing detailed advice.
Automated results are not used as the sole basis for submitting or rejecting a university or visa application.
4. How Documents Are Received
Documents uploaded through the application portal are processed through the website’s hosting environment and delivered to our designated business email:
enrollments@wbstudyabroadconsultants.com
Temporary technical copies may exist on the hosting server, email system or system backups during transmission and delivery. We aim to limit such copies and remove them when they are no longer required.
Users should not send documents through unofficial email addresses, social-media accounts or telephone numbers claiming to represent WB Study Abroad Consultants.
5. Access to Your Information
Access to student information is limited to team members who require it for assessment, counselling, documentation or application services.
Team members are expected to:
- Use student information only for assigned work
- Avoid unnecessary downloading or copying
- Keep account credentials private
- Prevent unauthorized access
- Report suspected misuse or loss of information
We do not sell or rent student information.
6. When Information May Be Shared
Submitting documents for an initial assessment does not automatically authorize us to send them to a university, embassy or other organization.
When you decide to proceed and provide the required approval, information may be shared with relevant parties such as:
- Universities and educational institutions
- Official university application portals
- Scholarship providers
- Embassies, consulates and immigration authorities
- Visa application centres
- Testing and academic-verification services
- Certified translators or document-processing services
- Courier services, when requested
- Website-hosting and business-email providers
- Legal or government authorities where disclosure is required
Only information relevant to the requested service should be shared. We will not knowingly disclose your documents to unrelated parties for advertising or resale.
7. International Processing
Study-abroad applications normally require information to be sent outside Pakistan. This may include sending your information to universities, application systems, visa authorities and service providers in your selected destination country.
By instructing us to proceed with an international application, you understand that the receiving country may have privacy rules different from those in Pakistan. We will share information only for the application or related service you have requested.
8. Communication Services
If you contact us through WhatsApp, Zoom, Google Meet or another communication platform, that provider may process information under its own privacy policy.
Do not send passwords, banking credentials or unrelated private documents through messaging platforms.
You may request communication through email or visit our office if you do not wish to discuss your case through WhatsApp.
9. Data Security
We use reasonable administrative and technical measures to protect submitted information. These measures may include restricted account access, password protection, secure website connections, software updates, security monitoring and staff access controls.
No website, email service or internet transmission can be guaranteed to be completely secure. For this reason, we cannot promise absolute protection against every technical failure, cyberattack or unauthorized action.
If we become aware of a security incident affecting submitted information, we will assess the situation, take reasonable corrective steps and contact affected individuals where appropriate.
10. How Long We Keep Information
We keep personal information only for as long as it is needed for the purpose for which it was collected.
Our normal retention approach is:
- General enquiries may be retained for up to 12 months after the last communication.
- Documents submitted for an initial assessment may be deleted within 180 days if the student does not proceed.
- Records for active students may be retained while their assessment, admission or visa-support service remains in progress.
- Completed client files may be retained for up to three years after the service ends to manage records, agreements, disputes and follow-up requests.
- Payment, agreement or legal records may be retained for a longer period where required.
- Backup copies may remain for a limited period until the normal backup cycle removes them.
You may request earlier deletion. We may keep limited information where it is needed to complete an active service, resolve a dispute, prevent fraud or meet a legal obligation.
11. Your Choices and Rights
You may contact us to:
- Ask what personal information we hold about you
- Request correction of inaccurate information
- Request deletion of information that is no longer required
- Withdraw permission for an application that has not yet been submitted
- Object to promotional messages
- Ask us to stop using your information for a particular purpose
- Raise a concern about how your information has been handled
We may request reasonable identity verification before providing, correcting or deleting sensitive documents.
Withdrawing consent does not reverse an action already completed with your permission, such as an application already submitted to a university.
12. Marketing Communications
We may send service-related messages about your enquiry or application. These messages are necessary to respond to your request.
Promotional messages will be kept separate where practical. You may ask us to stop sending promotional communication at any time. This will not prevent us from sending necessary updates about an active application or agreement.
13. Cookies and Website Analytics
The website may use essential cookies required for security, page operation and form functionality.
Where Google Analytics or another analytics service is enabled, it may collect information about website visits, devices and user interaction. This information helps us understand website performance and improve navigation.
Where consent is required, non-essential analytics or advertising cookies should not be activated until the visitor has made a choice through the cookie banner. Visitors may also control cookies through their browser settings.
Disabling essential cookies may affect parts of the website, including forms or security functions.
14. Children and Applicants Under 18
Applicants under 18 should submit personal information or documents with the knowledge and permission of a parent or legal guardian.
We may request guardian confirmation before beginning a paid service, signing an agreement or submitting an application for a minor.
15. Accuracy of Submitted Information
You are responsible for ensuring that the information and documents you provide are accurate, complete and genuine.
Please inform us if your contact details, academic results, passport information or other application details change. Incorrect or outdated information may affect an assessment or application.
16. Testimonials and Success Stories
We will not publish a student’s name, photograph, university, admission result, visa result or review as a success story without permission.
A student may request removal or correction of an approved testimonial by contacting us. Removal from our website does not automatically remove copies previously shared or indexed outside our control, but we will take reasonable steps regarding platforms managed by us.
17. External Websites
Our website may contain links to universities, government departments, visa centres or other external websites.
We are not responsible for the privacy practices, security or content of websites that we do not control. Review the relevant privacy policy before submitting information to an external website.
18. Changes to This Policy
We may update this policy when our services, website features, technology or applicable requirements change.
The revised version will be published on this page with a new “Last updated” date. Material changes may also be communicated through the website or directly to affected users where appropriate.
